CALL FOR PROPOSALS
We welcome abstracts on best practices for language documentation and conservation moving forward, which may include:
This is not an exhaustive list and individual proposals on topics outside these areas are warmly welcomed.
The Call for Proposals deadline for papers and posters (August 31, 2010) has passed, and we are no longer accepting proposal submissions. Notification of selection results will occur by September 30, 2010.
Selected papers from the conference will be invited to submit to the journal Language Documentation & Conservation for publication.
**Note for students**: Scholarships for up to $1,500 will be awarded to the six best student abstracts submitted to help defray travel expenses to come and present at the conference. (Only U.S.-based students are eligible for this scholarship due to funding source regulations, and only one scholarship awarded per abstract.)
