Friday, Paper #2
Joy and Agony of Integrating Technology into the Curriculum
Presenter: Yoko Koike
Affiliation: Haverford College, Pennsylvania
Two years ago, audio and video tapes were the only technologies used in my courses. This year our students make frequent use of Japanese word processor and video capabilities on computers, Japanese e-mail, newsgroups, and Web pages. Some were involved in video conferences using CUSeeMe. This presentation deals with issues in transforming the curriculum to integrate technology.
