Marta González-Lloret is co-leader of the 2018 NFLRC Summer Institute: Preparing Faculty and Teachers to Implement PBLL. She is an associate professor of Spanish in the UHM LLEA Department. Her main areas of expertise are the intersections of technology and Task-based Language Teaching (TBLT) and technology and L2 pragmatics; teacher development; and assessment. She teaches courses on Spanish language, linguistics, second language acquisition, teacher development, language teaching methodology, and CALL, several of them fully online or hybrids. She has been honored with both a College of LLL and Hawai‘i Association of Language Teachers (HALT) Excellence in Teaching Award.
