Don Doehla

Don Doehla teaches French at Vintage High School in Napa, California. He is also Co-Director of the Berkeley WL Project at UC Berkeley's Language Center, and a Facilitator for Edutopia, the George Lucas Education Foundation. He holds a BA in French from UC Berkeley, an MA in French and Francophone Studies from UC Santa Barbara, and is a National Board Certified Teacher. He believes strongly in the importance of collaboration, so he is a member of AATF, ACTFL, CLTA, SWCOLT, FLA-NC and ASCD. Don is interested in how to integrate PBLL using Web 2.0 tools in culturally relevant contexts with proficiency-based linguistic outcomes. He regularly presents workshops, and has written a training manual on PBLL.
