The Development of Discourse-Based Features of the L2 in Internet Environments

Presenter: Rafael Salaberry
Affiliation: Cornell University, New York

In this study I present a comparative analysis of two discursive features (pro-drop parameter and past tense aspect) of Basque, French and Spanish. The comparative analysis of the discourse generated by Internet-only (Basque) and Internet-plus (French and Spanish) discourse is necessary for the development of pedagogical activities most beneficial for learners of LCTLs.
