Federal funding for the Title VI Language Resource Center (LRC) Program has been abruptly discontinued after 35 years of work in world language education.     Asuka Miyamoto

    ASUKA MIYAMOTO is a graduate assistant at the Center for Language & Technology. She is pursuing her MA in East Asian Languages and Literatures at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, with a focus on Japanese Linguistics. Prior to joining UHM, she taught Japanese to undergraduate students and organized Japanese cultural events as a teaching fellow at Hamilton College in New York. She completed her BA in English Literature at Aoyama Gakuin University in Japan.
