Federal funding for the Title VI Language Resource Center (LRC) Program has been abruptly discontinued after 35 years of work in world language education.     Ryan Long

    RYAN LONG is an Information Technology Specialist at the Center for Language & Technology. He received a B.A. in Politics from Occidental College, and subsequently received an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Houston. His graduate-level work focused on machine learning and data analytics, as well as educational technology. Following this, Ryan worked for an insurance company for six years, developing and maintaining web applications. He joined the Center in 2025, and supports the technology infrastructure of our Centers, maintaining and developing web applications, and assisting faculty, staff, and students with a wide range of IT and instructional technology needs.
