Federal funding for the Title VI Language Resource Center (LRC) Program has been abruptly discontinued after 35 years of work in world language education.     Yeu-Ting Liu

    Yeu-Ting Liu is a Professor of English at National Taiwan Normal University. He earned his Ed.D. in TESOL from Teachers College, Columbia University, and his research explores the cognitive dimensions of technology-enhanced second language learning, including vocabulary processing, reading, and phonological development. At NTNU, he has served as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and now serves as Dean of the College of Teacher Education, where he oversees K–12 teacher education. Internationally, he previously served as Editor-in-Chief of a language teaching journal and is now Associate Editor of another. His long-standing connection with Reading in a Foreign Language—first as a reviewer, later as a board member, and now as co-editor—has been a particularly meaningful part of his academic journey.
