Dr. Yu-Ju Lan, a distinguished professor at National Taiwan Normal University, focuses her research on integrating artificial intelligence, the metaverse, and other emerging technologies into language learning and teacher education. She pays particular attention to learner engagement, instructional design, and learning effectiveness. Since 2020, she has been included in the Stanford/Elsevier list of the world’s top 2% of scientists in its annual rankings, and since 2022, in its career-long impact rankings, reflecting her sustained international scholarly impact. She has extensive editorial experience with international journals in language learning and educational technology and previously served as Research Syntheses Editor of Language Learning & Technology. She has also contributed to international scholarly collaboration and the advancement of technology-enhanced language learning.
