3. The young man was lying on his back on the bed and acted like he hadn't seen Xi's student.
4. Well... probably because he liked the idea of someone who didn't leap up as soon as they heard the name of someone rich, famous, and powerful -- someone who didn't care all that much for names, titles, and fortune.
