TiPPS Netiquette Guidelines

TiPPS participants are expected to observe the following TiPPS Netiquette Guidelines when making posts in the TED-Ed lesson discuss forums or in the TiPPS Discord community (if a TiPPS registrant):

• Treat fellow discussion forum participants with respect in all online comments.
• Review and edit your post before posting.
• Do not swear or make personal/insulting remarks.
• Keep caps lock at a minimum (because otherwise IT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE YOU ARE YELLING).
• Be careful when using humor or sarcasm as much can be lost in translation and give offense in an online environment.

Postings that do not follow our netiquette guidelines will be removed. Frequent offenders may lose their registration privileges if pursuing the TiPPS digital badge.
