Federal funding for the Title VI Language Resource Center (LRC) Program has been abruptly discontinued after 35 years of work in world language education. As a result, many LRCs including the NFLRC will be unable to carry out most of their activities planned for the fourth year of the current funding cycle (2025–2026). Learn More

Support the ACTFL PBLL Special Interest Group (SIG)

One of the NFLRC’s major projects during its 2014-18 grant cycle focuses on Project-Based Language Learning (PBLL), and we currently have many PBLL courses, professional development opportunities, resource developments, and research under way.

We are also petitioning for the creation of a PBLL Special Interest Group (SIG) with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).

If you an ACTFL member interested in Project-Based Language Learning, we could use your help!
