Federal funding for the Title VI Language Resource Center (LRC) Program has been abruptly discontinued after 35 years of work in world language education.     Don Doehla

    Don Doehla teaches French at Vintage High School in Napa, California. He is also Co-Director of the Berkeley WL Project at UC Berkeley’s Language Center, and a Facilitator for Edutopia, the George Lucas Education Foundation. He holds a BA in French from UC Berkeley, an MA in French and Francophone Studies from UC Santa Barbara, and is a National Board Certified Teacher. He believes strongly in the importance of collaboration, so he is a member of AATF, ACTFL, CLTA, SWCOLT, FLA-NC and ASCD. Don is interested in how to integrate PBLL using Web 2.0 tools in culturally relevant contexts with proficiency-based linguistic outcomes. He regularly presents workshops, and has written a training manual on PBLL.
