Evans Kurgat is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics at the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures at Texas Tech University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication & Public Relations, as well as a Diploma in Software Engineering, which provides him with a unique interdisciplinary perspective. Fluent in both English and Swahili, Evans is deeply committed to Second Language Acquisition (SLA) and actively contributes to this field through his role as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher. Beyond the classroom, Evans engages in scholarly discourse on language and its professional applications through his writing. His articles reflect his communication expertise and explore various facets of language learning and use, occasionally offering insights and opinions on relevant topics.
